A Huge Thank You to Foodie Shots!
We're so grateful to Kat from Foodie Shots for capturing the magic of our recent Melbourne Cup event at Loulaki Restaurant. The photos are absolutely stunning and perfectly capture the day.

A massive thank you to the Gather & Graze team! We're still floating on cloud nine after this wonderful event! We are so fortunate that the Gather & Graze team chose Protea Place as the beneficiary. Your dedication and hard work have made a significant impact on our community. This incredible group of humans worked tirelessly for almost 10 months to bring you another extraordinary event AND impact a local charity and wider community! A total of over $390,000 was raised! This includes $330k towards a special project (to be announced soon) our Rent of $50k PAID for 1 year AND $10k in fresh beef supplied for 1 year! Please join us in thanking the amazing Gather & Graze team, sponsors, raffle and auction donors, supporters and attendees. We're truly grateful for the support of everyone who attended, volunteered, and donated. Your generosity will help us continue our mission of providing safe and supportive housing for women in need.
A massive thank you to to Loulaki Restaurant ! We're blown away by the result of $24,027 raised for Protea Place for hosting an incredible Melbourne Cup 2024! This money is greatly needed to support the most vulnerable women in the community. The day was filled with delicious food, great company, and a whole lot of fun. We're so grateful to everyone who attended, donated prizes, and supported the event. Your generosity will make a significant difference in the lives of the women we support. A special thanks to Round Square Marketing for their amazing work in organising the event and to Santé Cocktail Bar for the incredible cocktails.
A HUGE Thank You to the Myer Foundation! We're happy to announce that Protea Place has been awarded a $25,000 grant for our Welcome Home Project! Over the past 4 years, we've created 62 safe homes for women and children. This will provide them with everything they need to rebuild their lives after homelessness, domestic violence and other trauma. This grant will make such a difference to those in need! And remember, when you shop at Myer Toowoomba, you can round up your sale and support Protea Place! We're so grateful for their incredible support!
