A huge shoutout!


Thanks to everyone who attended the “We Stand with Protea Place” Community Rally! It was incredible to see so many people coming together to show their support for vulnerable women in our community.


What an inspiring sight! We were lining the length of Russell Street, standing hand in hand as a community. Each person represented one of the 4,000 women Protea Place has helped in the last two years. This powerful display of solidarity is a clear message to the government that we demand ongoing support for Protea Place.


Now that the "We Stand with Protea Place" Community Rally has come to a close we are overwhelmed by the incredible turnout and support. Together, we've shown the true strength and unity of our community.


Thank you to everyone who attended, shared, and supported us. Let's keep the momentum going —sign the petition and continue to advocate for the essential services Protea Place provides.

Happy International Women's Day 2025 from Millmerran! Yesterday was an absolutely beautiful day with the Millmerran Collective and community, filled with incredible generosity! We are beyond excited to announce that they raised an overwhelming $45,000 towards our Protea Place Women’s Accommodation Project! This brings our total to a remarkable $941,061, bringing us even closer to purchasing a property in 2025 to provide safe haven for vulnerable women in our region.
